At our last conversation we discussed the state of health care in America. Those attending related personal experiences as well as their observations about how well the system works. Many lamented the influence of big business on medical policy and at one point the drug companies and doctors' lobby was likened to the Mafia.
We went on to debate the responsibilities of society to care for individuals as well as our personal responsibility to care for ourselves so as not to incur extraordinary expense.
As the conversation evolved we began talking about teenage pregnancy and related topics. We thought that line of discussion should continue so we decided to delve into those subjects at our next event. So please join us Sunday, October 23rd, 3 PM at the City Cafe as we explore parenthood, marriage, morality and wherever else our talk will take us.
